Install
Run Aegis-Setup.exe. No admin account needed to view the wizard — installs per-machine for shared MSSP office PCs.
Paste your license key
The key ZTPL emailed you. It activates and locks to this PC.
Set up your workspace
Create the first Super Admin account — this is a one-time, local-only step.
Start working
Everything runs on this machine. No further internet connection is required.
Frequently asked
Does Aegis need an internet connection to run?
No. Aegis runs fully offline once installed. The only outbound calls it ever makes are a best-effort license-revocation check, sending email (if you configure it), and checking for updates.
Where is my data stored?
Locally, in %APPDATA%\Aegis, inside an embedded database on your own machine. It never leaves your PC unless you export it yourself.
How do I update?
Aegis checks for updates and can install them in place, or download a newer installer from this page and run it over your existing install — your data and license activation are preserved.
Can I move my license to a new PC?
A license key locks to the first PC that activates it. Contact ZTPL for a replacement key if you need to move machines.
